Begin Preparing Now!


  • Begin saving now.
  • Begin getting in shape for walking up and down hills so you will enjoy opportunities for moderate hikes when we get there.
  • Ensure your passport does not expire until at least six months after the return date.
  • Download WhatsApp and practice using it.  We will use this to communicate with travelers while on the trip.

  • Inform your bank and your credit card companies that you will be traveling.
  • Consider setting up a free VOIP (voice-over-internet-protocol) to allow you to call home.

  • Leave a copy of your passport, itinerary, airline tickets, etc. with family or a trusted friend.

Travel


  • Get a frequent flyer card from your airline and register to receive credit for the trip.
  • Bring your flight confirmation number to the airport.
